Yaxche Learning Center is a K through 8 accredited, independent school located within the historic district of Taos. In keeping with the goals of the school to combine traditional and innovative elements under a single academic environment, Living Designs Group provided a master plan that ultimately lead to the fruition of a multi-building campus that accommodates up to 90 students.
The school sits on a 3.5 acre site and encompasses many historic adobe buildings that were renovated and adapted for new uses. There is also an integral greenhouse to contribute to the students understanding of ecology and horticulture.
