Vive Verde, The Living Office is located in Lake Worth, Florida. Integrated rooftop gardens and other green roof elements collect rainwater, minimize runoff, mitigate internal microclimate and are used to treat graywater while providing a valuable site amenity. Treated graywater and rainwater are reused in the Living Office to create a green Biolarium® space accessible to all.
Today's diverse working hours are the inspiration for a Living Office building. We turned the common office building design inside-out to create The Living Office. Rather than placing a compact building form on an urban site and surrounding it with a perimeter landscape strip, we brought the natural elements inside.
This allows integrated living systems to create synergy through the use, collection, treatment, and re-use of water and related passive climate control techniques. The architectural integration of these systems creates a living core for the entire building, increasing the indoor environmental quality.
