At Living Designs Group, Inc. we specialize in sustainable architecture for the Southwest. We are a group of LEED-accredited architects incorporating conventional and alternative design solutions to projects at a variety of scales, each unique in its scope. Our firm is widely recognized for sustainable resort-hotel architecture and planning such as El Monte Sagrado and Angel Fire Resort. Additionally, our portfolio includes educational, residential, multi-family and commercial developments. With the dawn of 2009 and the celebration of a decade of practice, we proudly announce these projects currently underway at our firm:


THS Football Field | Taos, NM | After completing a comprehensive Athletic Facilities Master Plan for the entire Taos Municipal School district, LDG won the contract to design the Taos High School Football Field. The project comprises a new turf field, stadium lighting, expanded seating, and restroom facilities as part of a broader plan for the entire THS athletic park, which also includes a new baseball diamond, running track, and grandstand/concession facilities. LDG is working hard to ensure that THS can break in their new field this fall for Homecoming 2009.

Gate House | EL Salto, NM | Presenting life-like interior perspectives, LDG awed the property owners and won the project to design a modestly-sized home with great views and designer touches.

Salazar Eco-Park | Taos, NM | The Town of Taos, in conjunction with the Taos Sports Alliance serves to develop Taos as a year-round, high-altitude sports destination.  LDG initially participated in this endeavor by  volunteering site master planning services for the development of new athletic parks.  These efforts rendered LDG, Inc. with two master planning contracts: the TMS Athletic Fields Master Plan and the Salazar Eco-Park Master Plan.

Taos Public Library | Taos, NM |  The Town of Taos has commissioned LDG, Inc. in association with Hidell & Associates of Carrollton, TX to prepare a needs assessment and master plan for the expnasion of the Taos Public Library.  LDG, Inc. will serve this team as the local associate architect.

Arroyos del Norte Elementary School | Des Montes, NM | With a successful history of work for the Taos Municipal School District, LDG, Inc. is well-suited to design and plan for the buildings and site renovations at this 10-yr old elementary school campus in rural Taos County.

Raton Flagship Hotel | Raton, NM | To help the hotel achieve its flagship status with a well-known international brand hotel, LDG, Inc. is designing for new construction and refurbishment of the 2-story, 60,000 sf hotel complex.

Las Trampas Community Center | Las Trampas, NM | Originally settled as a Spanish-colonial fortification in 1715, the rural village of Las Trampas is listed on the National Registrar of Historic Places and contains a National Historic Landmark, the San Jose de Gracia Church. LDG, Inc. is honored to offer design and planning services for the new 3,000 sf community center in Las Trampas, to be sensitively detailed in the indigenous Territorial style.
